Long Island, New York – A 49-year-old Freeport man was pronounced dead four days after he was struck by a 66-year-old male driver of a 2020 Subaru Forester on Sunrise Highway near South Main Street at around 8:00 p.m. Sunday. The victim sustained critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he died Thursday.
