Pedestrian Struck by Car and Pinned on a Building Wall in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY – Police investigation reports that a 75-year-old female driver of a silver Toyota Highlander lost control of the car, struck a pedestrian, and slammed into a residential building at 1415 Hegeman Avenue in Brooklyn Wednesday night. A male pedestrian, 58, standing outside the service entrance was pinned between the car and the wall.
Both were injured and rushed to Brookdale Hospital. Authorities say, the injured man is in very bad shape and is fighting for his life. According to the son of the Toyota operator, his mother is diagnosed with diabetes and believes she had a medical episode while maneuvering the vehicle.
